Of course, I've made a few of my own geeky confessions...
I had a friend who owned an N64 before I even knew what a gaming console was. She first introduced me to Mario Kart and that just put me through a loop and then we would play Goldeneye with her brother and I would always, always, screen peek because I didn't know any better. I'm sorry!
Yup, I was the ultimate fangirl when it came to Lord of the Rings. It was always especially nice because the trilogy movies usually came out on or around my birthday (December 17th)! My mom got me the trilogy plus The Hobbit, and even to this day, I never finished reading The Hobbit while I countlessly read the LOTR trilogy. I could never get into the story and I haven't even watched the Hobbit movies. Maybe one day I will!
There was a time when zombie media actually had a message but it has since then been garbled and forgotten. Sure, I'll still play games like Resident Evil and watch zombie movies but I will never tout them as master pieces or actually think a zombie apocalypse can happen. It can't, not even with those mind controlling insects from that one Cracked article. You know what I'm talking about!
A lot of people ask why and it's simple really: I enjoy watching/reading sociopathic characters pull the strings in a story. I want to see just how far he can go with his schemes and the consequences of that happening since he sort of started this whole mess in the first place. Although I will say that I enjoy the book version of Littlefinger a lot more than the show version.
